Obverse description Imperial double-headed eagle displayed beneath a crown, each head shown in profile facing outward, with wings spread and a central shield on the breast. The circular legend CIVITAT IMPERI surrounds the eagle, divided at the base by the mintmaster initials JJJ. The design is rendered in a bold, somewhat archaic style consistent with mid-18th-century German municipal coinage.
