Obverse description Central field bears a cross pattée set within a beaded circle, with the numeral '192' inscribed within the lower portion of the circle, denoting the coin's relationship to the Thaler as 1/192. The surrounding legend reads MONE NO LVBE, disposed around the outer circumference in Latin characters, identifying the coin as currency of Lübeck. The overall design is characteristic of the small hammered coinage of the period, with an irregular flan and slightly off-center strike typical of mid-17th century municipal issues.
