The shield occupies the central field of this small hammered silver coin, with the design rendered in a crude but characteristic late 16th-century German style. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | A crowned bear passant atop a crenellated wall, the shield of the bear of Anhalt centrally placed and flanked by the mintmaster's initials, with a rosette or star to one side. A small imperial orb appears above the bear, bisecting the two-digit date of issue. The overall composition is compact and typical of small-denomination hammered coinage from the Anhalt princely mints of the 1570s. |
