Obverse description Three small heraldic shields arranged in a triangular grouping, one above two, with the date divided by the upper shield. The mintmaster's initials appear in the lower field beneath the shields. The composition reflects the arms of the co-ruling Albertinian princes of Saxony, rendered in the compact style typical of late 16th-century German small silver coinage.

Reverse description An imperial orb surmounted by a cross patée, set within an ornate baroque cartouche of scrolling foliate strapwork. The orb, symbolizing Holy Roman imperial authority, occupies the central field, with the decorative surround filling the coin's surface to the rim. The bold, high-relief baroque frame is characteristic of late 16th-century Saxon mint work.
