Obverse description Bipartite shield bearing the arms of Anhalt: the dexter half displays a rampant bear passant, and the sinister half displays the barry with a fess charged with a cross pattée, all within a round or oval shield. The shield is centrally positioned in the field, with a circlet border visible around the coin's periphery. The hammered flan exhibits an irregular edge characteristic of Kipper-period coinage.
