| Reverse description | Central device consists of a large orb or globus cruciger, its lower hemisphere rendered as a beaded mural crown, surmounted by a patriarchal (double-barred) cross with trefoil terminals. The date 1606 is divided across the upper field, with '6' to the left and '06' to the right of the cross shaft, while the denominational numeral '96' (signifying 1/96 Thaler) appears within the lower arc of the orb. A small rosette or mullet is positioned to the upper left of the date. The composition is tightly arranged within the small flan, typical of early seventeenth-century German municipal coinage. |
