| Reverse description | Central field features a highly stylized chaitya-arch symbol (derived from the hill-and-crescent device of earlier Satrap issues), surrounded by a three-dot cluster and wavy line motifs representing the standard Western Satrap reverse iconography. The entire field is encircled by a Brahmi legend naming the ruler and his lineage. The inscription, rendered in the characteristic cursive Brahmi script of the Western Satraps, fills the border of the flan in a continuous band around the central device. |
