| Obverse description | Draped bust of the ruler facing right, with a circled dot device positioned above the effigy. A Pahlavi legend appears in the field behind the bust, while a Sogdian legend is inscribed in the field before the face. The portrait reflects the strong Sasanian artistic influence characteristic of early medieval Central Asian coinage, rendered in a stylized manner typical of the Bukhar Khudat series. |
