背面描述 The reverse bears a Sogdian inscription arranged in the field, comprising several cursive Sogdian characters identifying the issuer or providing a royal legend. The script is rendered in a somewhat degenerate or abbreviated form characteristic of late Hephthalite and Yabghu-period bronze coinage. The overall surface is worn and irregular due to the hammered flan, with the inscription occupying most of the available field without a defined border.

附加信息

The Tokhara Yabghus were Turkic governors holding nominal authority under the Western Türk qaghanate while navigating constant pressure from both the expanding Umayyad caliphate pushing into Transoxiana and Tang Chinese influence from the east. Sahi Tigin was among the later yabghus operating in this increasingly unstable corridor. By 700–720, Arab raids into Tokharistan were becoming incursions, and coinage of this period often reflects hasty or reduced-quality production consistent with a polity under military and administrative strain.

Göbl 270B is a rare sub-variety within an already thinly documented series.
