| Obverse description | Bust of King Rudrasena IV facing right, rendered in the debased Greco-Indian style characteristic of late Western Satrap coinage. The royal effigy is depicted with a diadem and stylized hair, with a regnal date expressed in the Saka era inscribed in the field behind the head. Degenerate and largely illegible Greek inscription encircles the portrait, representing a vestigial retention of earlier Kshatrapa epigraphic convention. |
