| Beschrijving keerzijde | Fire altar flanked by two attendants in the Sasanian tradition, rendered in a simplified and stylized provincial manner. The altar and flanking figures are executed in a debased imitative style, showing significant departure from the refined Sasanian originals. Pahlavi legend remnants are present in the field, heavily degraded and difficult to read due to local engraving conventions. The reverse design is enclosed within a beaded or dotted border on an irregularly shaped silver flan. Overall workmanship is consistent with post-Sasanian Central Asian imitative issues of the 6th–7th century. |
