| 裏面の説明 | Zoroastrian fire altar at center, flanked by two attendant figures standing in profile facing the altar, a composition derived directly from canonical Sasanian drachm reverse types. The altar is rendered with a stepped base and a flame rising from the altar top, consistent with Peroz I prototype coinage but executed in the simplified, local imitative tradition of Northern Tokharistan. Remnants of a beaded border encircle the design. The overall style reflects debasement and schematization characteristic of post-Sasanian Sogdian provincial issues of the sixth century. |
