| Obverse description | Bust of Peroz I facing right, rendered in the Sasanian style and serving as the base imitation type, with two distinct Kobadien tamghas (dynastic symbols) placed in the fields on either side of the effigy. A Bactrian legend appears below the bust. Two obverse countermarks of types 1 and 2 have been applied to the flan, partially overlapping the original design elements. The overall composition reflects the Kobadien tribal practice of adapting and authenticating Sasanian-derived coinage for local circulation. |
