Reverse description A Zoroastrian fire altar depicted at center, flanked by two attendants standing in profile on either side, closely following the standard Sasanian reverse iconography found on drachms of Peroz I. Three reverse countermarks of types 1, 2, and 3 have been applied to the flan, distributed across the reverse field. The fire altar design retains the essential sacred symbolism of the Sasanian prototype while bearing the additional authenticating marks of the issuing Kobadien authority.
