| Obverse description | Degraded bust of the king facing right, rendered in a highly schematized style derived from earlier Kshatrapa prototypes. The effigy retains vestiges of a garmented shoulder and facial profile. A degenerate and largely illegible Greek-derived legend appears in the field before the bust, a vestigial remnant of the Indo-Scythian numismatic tradition adopted by Gupta western satraps. The flan is irregular and the relief is low, consistent with the hammered coinage of the western Gupta series. |

| Reverse description | A stylized Garuda figure occupies the central field, depicted in a highly abstracted form characteristic of late Gupta silver coinage, with spread wings suggested by flanking decorative elements. Surrounding the central device is a circular Brahmi legend naming the issuing monarch with his full royal titulature. The design is executed in low relief on an irregular hammered flan, with the legend distributed around the periphery of the coin. |
