| Reverse description | Overstruck Satavahana type featuring a three-arched hill (ghataparvata) with a crescent moon above its central arch and a wavy water symbol (nadi) below, with the characteristic Andhra Satavahana dynastic symbol to the left — all countermarked over the earlier Western Kshatrap coinage of Nahapana. Beneath the Satavahana overstrikes, remnants of the original Kharosthi legend and the Kshatrap clumped weapon symbols remain faintly visible on the flan. The Kharosthi peripheral inscription referencing Nahapana as Great Kshatrap is partially legible around the border. |
