Reverse description Central chaitya (stupa) symbol flanked by a crescent and a star or dotted ornament, surrounded by a Brahmi legend encircling the field. The chaitya is rendered in a highly schematized form consistent with the Western Deccan regional coinage tradition. Dot clusters and crescent motifs fill the surrounding field, serving both decorative and symbolic functions. The overall design reflects the strong Buddhist and Vaishnava iconographic vocabulary of the Traikutaka dynasty.
