| Obverse description | Rightward-facing royal bust in profile, derived from the Sasanian iconographic tradition of Vistahm (591–596), rendered with a single wing rising from the shoulder and a bull's head motif surmounting the crown. The effigy is executed in the degraded Sasanian style characteristic of post-conquest Tokharistan coinage. A Bactrian legend reading NYCK[Y] MLKA ('Victorious King') appears to the left of the bust in the field, while a partially legible or unread legend occupies the right field. |
