Reverse description Central fire altar with stepped base and blazing flames rising from the bowl, flanked by two standing attendants facing inward, each rendered in summary Sasanian style with hands raised toward the flame. A star and crescent device appears flanking the flames above the altar, a standard Zoroastrian votive motif on Sasanian and Sasanian-derived coinage. The composition closely follows late Sasanian reverse types but with the provincial schematization characteristic of Tokharistan imitations. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded circular border.
