| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central figure representing Ahura Mazda depicted facing left, positioned within a stylized fire altar. Two attendant figures stand flanking the altar on either side, rendered in the conventional Zoroastrian iconographic tradition characteristic of Bukhar Khudat coinage. The composition closely follows Sasanian fire-altar reverse types, adapted into the regional idiom of Sogdiana during the early Abbasid period. The figures are presented in a hieratic, frontal or semi-frontal stance, emphasizing their ritual and religious function. |
