Obverse description A stag stands to right, with a square-shaped vase (purnaghata) depicted above its back and an early Srivatsa symbol placed between its horns. Below the stag, a three-arched hill (chaitya) surmounted by a parasol is rendered in the lower field. To the right of the stag, the goddess Lakshmi stands facing forward, her raised right hand holding a lotus flower. A Brahmi legend encircles the design throughout the field.
