| 正面描述 | Crowned royal bust facing right, rendered in a stylized Sasanian-derived artistic tradition, with a diademed and crested crown surmounting the effigy. The face is depicted frontally with large almond-shaped eyes, a characteristic feature of post-Sasanian numismatic art of Central Asia. An Arabic legend is arranged in the field before the bust, identifying Jabuya as ruler of the Oghuz and client of the Commander of the Faithful. The overall design reflects the syncretism of Sasanian iconographic conventions adapted for Islamicized Turkic coinage of the Syr Darya region. |

| 背面描述 | A mounted horseman galloping to the right, depicted in a dynamic Sasanian-influenced style characteristic of Central Asian post-Sasanian coinage. The rider is shown in profile with a raised posture atop a striding horse, with details of the horse's mane and legs rendered in a schematic but vigorous manner. An Arabic inscription is placed in the field behind the horseman, citing the name of the Tahirid governor Abdallah ibn Tahir, indicating the coin's dual authority. The composition is typical of the hybrid Oghuz-Tahirid coinage of the early 9th century, blending Turkic and Islamic administrative traditions. |

The Syr Darya Oghuz occupied a political middle ground in ninth-century Central Asia — nominally within the Tahirid orbit yet retaining enough autonomy to strike coinage bearing both the Tahirid governor Abdallah ibn Tahir's name and that of a local Oghuz chief, Namij Jabuya. This bilingual legitimacy formula, blending Abbasid-appointed authority with steppe leadership, is rare in the numismatic record and reflects how thinly Tahirid administrative reach actually extended into the Syr Darya basin.
