Obverse description Bare-headed bust of John Theodore, Count of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rochefort, facing right with curly hair and draped shoulders, set within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend reads the ruler's abbreviated titulature in Latin, beginning with a rose ornament, identifying him as Count of Löwenstein-Rochefort and sovereign lord of Chassepierre-Cugnon. The portrait is rendered in a crude but characteristic late feudal style typical of minor German lordship coinage of the early seventeenth century. The field is otherwise plain.
Obverse script Latin
Obverse lettering (rose)I.TH.C.D.LE.RO.S.S.D.CH.CVGN (a) .I.TH.C.D.LE.RO.S.S.D.CH.CVGN (b)
