| Obverse description | Veiled and draped bust of Empress Maria Theresa facing right, rendered in high relief in the neoclassical style. The effigy depicts the empress in mature years, wearing a widow's veil that falls loosely over her shoulders and a lace-trimmed bodice. The circumferential Latin legend reads M. THERESIA. D.G. R. IMP. HU. BO. REG. A. A., abbreviating her full imperial and royal titles. The field is smooth and unadorned, with the portrait occupying the majority of the flan. The rim is defined by a fine beaded border running the full circumference. |
