| Obverse description | The obverse features the Singapore Arms of State centrally positioned in the field, depicting a shield charged with a crescent moon and five stars, supported by a lion and a tiger rampant on either side, with a scroll at the base bearing the national motto. The legend 'SINGAPURA' arcs along the upper rim in Latin script, while the Tamil inscription 'சிங்கப்பூர்' appears to the left and the Chinese characters '新加坡' to the right.
