Obverse description Central field features a draped allegorical female figure seated in three-quarter view, rendered in high relief in the style of engraver Susan Gamble, evoking a classical personification of the state of Oklahoma. To the left, an inset circular vignette depicts the Oklahoma state seal with a scissor-tailed flycatcher amid wildflowers and the legend OKLAHOMA 1907. To the right, a second inset circular vignette displays the coat of arms of Ascension Island above the date 2025. The denomination $1 appears in the lower central field, flanked by decorative foliage borders. The arc legend E PLURIBUS UNUM is inscribed along the upper rim, with NOMISMA along the lower rim, and the engraver's initials JI appear in the lower right field.

Additional information

Ascension Island — a British Overseas Territory with no permanent indigenous population — has issued commemorative coinage for decades under arrangements that have little to do with local monetary needs and everything to do with the collector market. The "World's Fair of Money" is an annual convention run by the American Numismatic Association, and pieces timed to its release are typically sold on the show floor as souvenirs.

The silver-plated composition rather than solid silver puts this squarely in the promotional tier of modern numismatic issues.
