Wildwood is a small village in Parkland County, Alberta, that held a series of local celebrations through the late 1960s tied to the broader Alberta centennial promotional period. The Elks Lodge trade dollar program was a common mechanism for these communities — local scrip redeemable at participating merchants, functioning as both civic promotion and a modest fundraiser for the issuing lodge. Lodge #411 has operated in Wildwood since the mid-twentieth century.
