备注

Byers Island is a small uninhabited atoll claimed by the United States under the Guano Islands Act of 1856, which authorized American citizens to claim unclaimed islands for their phosphate-rich guano deposits. Most such territories never generated official currency of any kind. This note belongs to a loose category of locally-produced fantasy issues tied to minor U.S. insular claims — none of which have a functioning government, treasury, or legal tender framework that would authorize currency issuance.

The security features are real enough, but their presence on a fantasy note is purely decorative credentialism.
