| Obverse description | Left-facing effigy of Susan B. Anthony, the celebrated women's suffrage pioneer, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail. The legend LIBERTY arcs along the upper rim, while IN GOD WE TRUST is inscribed to the left of the portrait. The date appears in the lower exergue, and the engraver's initials FG are positioned at the lower right of the bust truncation. The mint mark, where present, appears above the date to the left. |
