Reverse description The reverse bears a richly detailed and color-enhanced depiction of the Statue of Zeus at Olympia, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, shown as a colossal enthroned male figure with a long beard, draped from the waist down in an elaborately decorated robe, holding a small winged Nike figure in his right hand and a tall scepter in his left. The statue is set within a columned temple interior, rendered in warm golden and ivory polychrome color application evoking ivory and gold chryselephantine construction. The base of the throne features a sculptural relief frieze with reclining and active human figures. The legend THE STATUE OF ZEUS arcs along the upper periphery, a circular logo inscribed 7 ANTIQUE WONDERS appears in the upper left field, and the date 2009 is inscribed at the lower left of the central design.
