| Obverse description | The obverse displays the Fiji coat of arms in the central field, rendered in fine relief and featuring two supportant figures flanking a quartered shield surmounted by a British lion holding a cocoa pod. The legend 'FIJI 2022' arcs above the arms and '1 DOLLAR' appears in the lower field. The entire design is struck on a six-pointed snowflake-shaped flan with intricately engraved dendrite-like branching patterns radiating across all six arms.
