Reverse description A centrally positioned Rosy Periwinkle blossom (Catharanthus roseus, formerly Lochnera rosea) is depicted in high relief, displaying five rounded petals radiating symmetrically from the centre. Smaller individual blossoms are scattered in the field to either side of the main flower, adding decorative balance to the composition. The legend 'ONE DOLLAR' arcs along the upper rim in Latin script, while the denomination '$1' appears in the lower field beneath the central floral motif. The entire design is executed in proof quality with frosted devices set against a mirror-polished field.
