1 ONE DOLLAR 1
Reverse description Reverse retains the standard green intaglio design of the U.S. one dollar note, with the Great Seal of the United States rendered in two circular vignettes flanking the large central word ONE set in bold guilloche lettering. The left vignette contains the reverse of the Great Seal — an unfinished pyramid surmounted by the Eye of Providence with the legends ANNUIT COEPTIS and NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM — while the right vignette bears the obverse of the Great Seal with the heraldic eagle. The motto IN GOD WE TRUST is inscribed above the central denomination, and the legend THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA runs along the upper border above dense guilloche underprint.
