Belize issued this silver piece alongside a cupro-nickel circulation strike of the same type — KM#95, the base metal version, saw actual use in commerce, while the .925 silver variant was produced strictly for collector sets and proof sales through the Franklin Mint distribution network, which handled much of Belize's numismatic output during the 1980s.
