Obverse description The obverse features the Coat of Arms of Fiji set within a raised circular field at the centre of the scallop shell-shaped flan. The shield, flanted by two Fijian warriors as supporters, displays the traditional quartered arms with a British lion in the chief and sugarcane, coconut palm, dove of peace, and a bunch of bananas in the quarters. A scroll beneath bears the national motto. The legend FIJI 2019 arcs above the arms, flanked by the inscriptions 10g to the left and .999 FINE SILVER to the right, with 1 DOLLAR placed in the lower field.
