| 正面描述 | Facing left in left profile, the radiate effigy of Liberty is rendered in the Art Deco style by sculptor Anthony de Francisci, modeled after his wife Teresa. Her flowing hair is adorned with a spiked diadem reminiscent of the Statue of Liberty's crown, and her features are depicted with classical idealism. The legend LIBERTY arcs along the upper rim, while the motto IN GOD WE TRUST appears in two parts across the lower field flanking the neck truncation. The date is positioned along the lower rim below the portrait, and the engraver's monogram 'AF' appears incuse at the base of the neck. |

| 背面描述 | A bold American bald eagle, rendered in the Art Deco style, perches in three-quarter profile atop a mountain crag, its wings slightly raised and its head turned to the right. The eagle clutches an olive branch in its talons, symbolising peace, while dramatic sunrays radiate outward across the field behind it. The legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA arcs along the upper rim, and the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM appears in a secondary arc within the upper field. The denomination ONE DOLLAR is inscribed horizontally across the mid-field on either side of the eagle, and the word PEACE appears prominently in the lower exergue, giving the series its popular name. The mint mark, when present, is located on the reverse at the base of the eagle's right wing. |
