| Obverse description | At center, the national coat of arms of Palau rendered in relief within a shield-shaped escutcheon, depicting a figure of a man with a trident seated beside a sea turtle, accompanied by a crescent moon and star above; a traditional Palauan sailing canoe surmounts the shield.
