背面描述	The central field features a full-colour photographic portrait of Pope John Paul II in three-quarter view, vested in pontifical robes and wearing an ornate mitre, his hands folded in prayer; rendered in vivid polychrome enamel printing. To the left, an uncoloured relief portrait of the Pope in profile is depicted in the field, showing him raising his hand in blessing. The legend JOHN PAUL II arcs along the upper rim, while BEATIFICATION appears along the lower right border. Within the coloured central image, the inscriptions 19 DEC 2009 and VENERABILIS DEI SERVUS commemorate the date of his elevation to Venerable, and the date 01.05.2011 at the lower rim records his beatification.
