This is not a genuine Reserve Bank of Australia issue. The RBA converted fully to polymer with the 1988 bicentennial $10 note and has not produced a circulating paper banknote since. A 2017–2024 paper dollar attributed to "Australia" with only a watermark as security falls outside every known RBA series — the country hasn't even had a $1 banknote in circulation since the coin replaced it in 1984.
