Fantasy hobo nickel-style reworking of the standard Morgan Dollar reverse die, depicting the heraldic eagle with wings displayed, clutching an olive branch in its right talon and a bundle of arrows in its left, all within a laurel wreath. The national motto IN GOD WE TRUST appears in the field, with the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the denomination ONE DOLLAR surrounding the central device. The design is based on the reverse composition originally engraved by George T. Morgan. |

| Reversbeschreibung |
Whimsical fantasy engraving in the hobo coin tradition, depicting a male painter at his easel applying paint to a canvas upon which a nude female figure is rendered. In a surrealist tableau, the painted woman animates and reaches forward from the canvas to grasp the painter about the neck. The date 1881 and the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM appear as part of the surrounding legend, retained from the original Morgan Dollar obverse die which serves as the base for this altered coin. |
