| 正面描述 | The sixth and final effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark, occupies the centre of the obverse, depicting the crowned and draped bust of the monarch in right-facing profile. The Queen is shown wearing the George IV State Diadem and a pearl necklace with drop earrings. The circumferential legend reads 'ELIZABETH II 1952 – 2022' at the upper left, with 'AUSTRALIA 2023' continuing to the right, and the denomination '1 DOLLAR' inscribed along the lower arc. The engraver's initials 'JC' appear in the field near the truncation. |

Part of the Royal Australian Mint's ongoing "Bush Babies" series celebrating native and iconic Australian animals, this release follows a well-established RAM formula of coloured circulating dollars aimed squarely at the collector market. The Blue Heeler — more precisely the Australian Cattle Dog — was developed in the 1840s by crossing imported Smithfield and smooth-coated Collie dogs with the native Dingo, producing a breed purpose-built for droving cattle across harsh inland terrain.
The "6th Portrait" of Elizabeth II, sculpted by Jody Clark, was introduced to Australian coinage in 2019.
