| Reverse description | The reverse depicts the official Brisbane Broncos NRL club emblem — a stylised horse's head in profile facing right, rendered within a shield-shaped cartouche — prominently positioned in the upper central field. Beneath the emblem, the legends 'BRONCOS' and 'BRISBANE' are inscribed in bold capital letters. The lower half of the field features a detailed perspective view of a rugby league stadium, with tiered grandstands receding toward the centre and a set of rugby league goal posts rising from the playing surface. A rugby league ball rests on a kicking tee in the foreground at the base of the design. The curved upper legend reads '2024 NRL PREMIERSHIP - BRONCOS'. |

The NRL centenary licensing deal that brought rugby league clubs onto circulating Australian coinage required years of negotiation between the Royal Australian Mint and the NRL — the Brisbane Broncos, as the competition's most commercially successful club by merchandise revenue, were an inevitable inclusion. Founded only in 1988, the Broncos are among the youngest clubs in the league yet have won eight premierships, a record that made their omission from any such series commercially untenable.
