| Beschrijving voorzijde | The sixth and final effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, modelled by Jody Clark, depicts the crowned bust of Her Majesty facing right, wearing the George IV State Diadem and the Victorian Coronation Necklace. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs above, flanked by the regnal dates 1952 - 2022 in commemoration of her passing, while AUSTRALIA and the date of issue appear in the lower field. The engraver's initials JC are present at the truncation. This memorial obverse was adopted following the Queen's death in September 2022. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse features the celebrated 'Mob of Roos' design, depicting five kangaroos in dynamic poses arranged across the field, a composition first introduced on the Australian one dollar coin in 1984. A dominant adult kangaroo occupies the right foreground in profile facing left, while four additional kangaroos of varying sizes leap and bound behind and beside it, conveying movement and depth. The numeral '1' appears prominently in the lower left field, integrated among the animals, with the denomination legend DOLLAR inscribed in bold capitals to its right along the lower portion of the field. |
