| Additional information |
The Fremantle Dockers entered the AFL as an expansion side in 1995, one of two clubs added that year to extend the competition into Western Australia — the other being the West Coast Eagles. This dollar is part of the Royal Australian Mint's long-running AFL club series, which has issued collector dollars tied to all eighteen clubs across multiple release cycles.
