Obverse description The sixth and final effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, sculpted by Jody Clark, occupies the central field, depicting a right-facing draped and crowned bust of the Queen wearing the George IV State Diadem. The portrait is rendered in high relief against a deeply mirrored field. A broad colored annular border frames the effigy, bearing the legend ELIZABETH II 1952 – 2022 along the upper arc and AUSTRALIA along the right, with the denomination 1 DOLLAR inscribed along the lower arc. The engraver's initials JC appear below the portrait truncation.
