| Reverse description | The reverse features the official club logo of the Brisbane Lions Australian Football League team, prominently centred in the field. The logo consists of a boldly rendered frontal lion's head with a full mane, above which the club name appears in two lines with BRISBANE in smaller lettering and LIONS in large bold capitals. Surrounding the central design is a decorative border composed of stylised stadium seating panels arranged in a semicircular pattern, with an Australian rules football depicted at the top alongside goal posts, evoking the atmosphere of a football stadium. The legend BRISBANE LIONS curves along the lower rim of the coin. |

| Additional information |
Part of the Royal Australian Mint's ongoing AFL club series, this coin was issued ahead of the Brisbane Lions' 2024 season — a team formed from the 1996 merger of the Brisbane Bears and Fitzroy Football Club, the latter being the oldest club in the VFL, founded in 1883. The sixth portrait of Elizabeth II, sculpted by Jody Clark, appears here despite the Queen's death in September 2022, as the Mint worked through existing portrait authorisations during the transition to Charles III coinage.
