| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Palau occupies the central field, depicting a crowned Neptune figure seated amid waves, holding a trident, accompanied by a mermaid to his right and a treasure chest to his left, all enclosed within an ornate shield. A traditional Palauan canoe in full sail appears above the shield in the upper field. The curved legend REPUBLIC OF PALAU runs along the upper periphery, flanked by eight five-pointed stars arranged symmetrically on either side. The series name RAINBOW'S END is inscribed within the lower portion of the shield, and the denomination 1$ appears in the lower field below the arms. |
