Obverse description Central device depicts a trumpeter swan in relief set against a scenic background of mountains and trees within a circular frame. The legend GRANDE PRAIRIE - ALBERTA / CAPITAL INLAND EMPIRE arcs around the upper field, with the founding and jubilee dates 1914 and 1964 flanking the device, and TRUMPETER SWAN / GOLDEN JUBILEE inscribed in the lower field.
