| 正面铭文 | GOLDEN MEMORIES 1914 1964 CANADIAN NATIONAL 2141 BIG VALLEY, ALBERTA |
| 背面描述 | A wide panoramic photographic vignette of the town of Big Valley occupies the central register, printed entirely in green. Large numeral "1" denominators flank the upper corners, with the word DOLLAR beneath each, framed by an ornate guilloche border running the full perimeter. Redemption text and the issuing authority's name are printed in a smaller typeface below the vignette. |

| 备注 |
Big Valley, Alberta issued this note in 1964 as part of the centennial scrip wave that swept small Canadian towns during the lead-up to the 1967 Confederation centennial — local boards of trade across the prairies used commemorative currency as both a tourism draw and a fundraising mechanism. The Big Valley Board of Trade adopted the "Golden Memories" branding to tie the note to the town's history as a former Canadian Northern Railway hub, a role that evaporated when rail traffic declined and left the community dramatically reduced from its early 20th-century peak.
These notes had no legal tender status and circulated only within sanctioned local events or souvenir channels.
