The legend REPUBLIC OF PALAU arcs along the upper field, accompanied by a row of small five-pointed stars arranged around the upper perimeter. The series name RAINBOW'S END appears in the exergue of the shield, and the denomination 1$ is inscribed in the lower field. The entire design is rendered in polished proof finish on the gold flan. |
